No need to deny, exam’s here. But I should say: I’m still not in that kind of mood for exam! Had chinese today, no comment about the paper. I couldn’t stop smiling because the kids from setia were screaming out loud or so-called-singing. “Shut up! Shut up! …. Get up! Get up!” Did you hear it? And then “This is real, this is me … you’re the missing piece I need, the song inside of me …” I couldn’t really concentrate in the exam actually.
And the biggest news: Danny Gokey did not make it to American Idol finale! ): I got to watch a little of the result show before the performance. I was like what the hell what the hell, how can kris allen beat danny gokey? And sister was so proud of herself because last week she said definitely danny will be the one who’s gonna get out from the show tonight! I was like, glaring at her.Then, by night time I watched their performance. I couldn’t deny that kris did a really, really good job this week. He was so artistic and so creative making the song into his kind of song. randy and kara chose ‘apologize’ by one republic. kris played the piano with singing but kara said he shouldn’t have hide behind the piano and should do something special. Until kris’s personal choice – heartless by kanye west, my mouth opened so wide that I couldn’t even cover it with my hand. kris’s acoustic version of heartless, you really have to listen! I agree with kara, it’s really a brave thing for what kris had done – one guy with one guitar on the stage.
adam sang simon’s choice of song – one by U2 and he was so passionate when he sings that love song. I’m sure every girl had fainted when he looks into their eyes and sang. kara asked a funny question: “How do you hit the note so high and still managed to talk tomorrow morning? Who can?” “Adam Lambert.” And he chose 'crying', a sort-of rock song for his personal choice. Suit him a lot of course. I always wow-ed when he hit a really high note. Amazing!
While for danny, he still did a good, excellent job. paula chose ‘dance little sister’ and all of them agree it was a good start for his performance. But then, kara and simon criticizes danny’s dancing was a little desperate. His personal choice was ‘you’re so beautiful’ and it was really touching! Even simon said that was a professional class vocal! I agree with what randy once said: this is a singing competition and he really can sing. I’m sure his wife is really proud of him! (: Oh well, even though he’s out of the show, I bet his future will definitely be different from now on. Hopefully we’ll be able to listen from him soon!
During the result show, saw videos when adam danny and kris went back as their hometown hero. Aww, it was really (x10) touching seeing so many fans they have outside the world. When kris and his dad hugged each other (sniffs) so touching it really was. When adam was performing in a high school, a girl was so excited that she took off her shirt and ran up to the stage! danny was so happy to meet back his best friend – jamar and they went for the parade together. All three of the idol had their parade, went to studios, performance packed with lots and lots of crowd!
And then jordin sparks performed her new single – battlefield! And and, katy perry performed ‘waking up in vegas’! She was looking so so so (x10) sexy manz! And behind her cloak there was a name: adam lambert. Wooooohoo! Haha.
So now, Adam Lambert, the punk rock star vs. Kris Allen, the humble Jason-Mraz-ed prince!
Sister and I bet who will win in the finale. Don’t need to say, it’s adam lambert baby!
