The heart was a weak, changeable thing, bent on nothing but love, and there could be on more fatal mistake than to make it your master. Reason be in charge. It comforted you for the heart's foolishness, it sang mocking songs about love, derided it as a whim of nature, transient as flowers. - Ink Death, Cornella Funke.Today was sorta counted as a pretty nice day. I'll just briefly talk about it, not exactly much to say.
So, got back my Chinese paper 2. 47.5/78 was written on the paper sheet, but I counted once again oopsy, 43.5/78. Gee! Aiyaya, even worse cause I couldn't count on anything for this subject, definitely not Chinese paper 1. Never mind that, we'll see what happens tomorrow when I get result.
Got back my Maths result too. Ok, disappointed to say, I didn't get 100 marks. Though 96 was already really good man! Maybe because everyone's mark are all above 95, I don't have the excitement. And as I stated in the previous post, it was so easy! Weng Yau got 100 marks for Add Math - that is just so amazing. Ain't it?
During Chemistry, Yen Theng and I wouldn't stop exchanging glances, when Mr Lim mentioned something funny and whole class bursted into laughter. Pretty interesting as we were learning on the history behind the periodic table. He wrote this on the board:
Dobereiner @ Nobrainer
It is pronounced as that! LOL. Then later comes Newlands',
Law of Octaves
Mosely
Last but not least, Mosely (why are the scientists' names so weird?) who contributed most for the Periodic Table.
He left empty slots to be filled by undiscovered elements. He was able to predict the properties of undiscovered elements.
Teacher started making a story out of the statement above.
"Chang Chong, you sit over here. I believe you all sit by rotating one, next time leave this place blank. I can predict next month there'll be a new student sitting there. A boy sacked from Saujana, 5 feet tall, double the size of Eric, and has a low boiling point, hott.." He didn't get to finish his line, our laughters had already covered all up!
LOW BOILING POINT - HOT TEMPERED PERSON
This is so cool.
Organized a meeting with the Form 4 PRS after school @the computer lab. I'm quite satisfied on what we managed to discuss, though some of the time I felt fed up on them (I'm sorry to say that - i weren't good in controlling situations too!) Ya know lah, boys, can't help it aye. Anyway, they helped a lot in contributing ideas, I felt so grateful when the Theme is finally settled. It's a big move ahead, babe. Thanks!
That's all for today, school tomorrow.
