Today's the day! Today's the day! TODAY IS THE DAY! I was so relief that I met Yen Theng when Mom parked her car. I was extremely nervous! It felt so better that I get to go inside school with her! No need to say, the school was already packed with a lot of Form Threes and parents.
The first one I saw was Kok Jun. "I haven't return back my book, the SPBT one! So they won't give me my result!" Yen Theng and I kept on laughing about that.
Then faraway, I saw Hairul Bala Sherwyn, somehow I guess jumping around with joy. Hehe! Bala Sherwyn came running to me and I congratulated both of them. Hairul gave me a totally happy smile, and who doesn't know what that meant. Haha!
Okay, then I headed towards my class. Mern Jo was in tears. I was like totally OMFG-HOW-IS-THIS-POSSIBLE! when I knew her results. I hugged her and followed Yen Theng to get our results. Suddenly, I heard her gasped. Another time, I was like totally OMFG-HOW-IS-THIS-POSSIBLE! Yen Theng's mom kept on consoling her beside me. I was really afraid.
My eyes scrolled down my name.
And I saw the first subject, BM on the list was, B. Disappointment struck.
I signed my name and reached out for my exam slip. A A A A A A A A OH MY GOD.
I forgotten what happened after that. I only knew I kept on laughing, smiling, hugging, shaking hands. I'm totally totally (x99) OVERJOYED! Mom wouldn't stop sms-ing and calling my relatives. And then I ran over to Hairul, congratulating almost everyone there. And got a lot of hugs back too! HEHE!
And, I hugged Shobita more than once! HAHAHAHA Her mom was really nice.
"Mom, this is Hairul's girlfriend, Regina." I looked at her, sort of questioning.
"Don't worry, my mom's normal one!" She whispered and I laughed.
"So Hairul get 8As, you get 8As too!" I shook her hand and kept on giggling.
"Yeah, they're a great match!" Shobi shouted.
I left my Mom when she was busying talking on the phone again and walked over to almost-the-school-gate.
"Regina, Hairul's over there!" Bala pointed.
"Say hi to your parents-in-law!" Sherwyn joked. LOL!
I said hi to them and, it was pretty awkward actually, hehe! I was wondering should I tell them my name first or what. Until Hairul's Mom and Dad reached out their hands, and I shook with them. They're really nice people!
I have to say, I just happened, so luckily to be a lucky one. And the best Christmas gift ever, it just made my Christmas so, merrier.
