KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (Bernama) -- Malaysia recorded its second local transmission of Influenza A(H1N1) after a 22-year-old Malaysian man tested positive yesterday, Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican said today.

The man, the 37th case in the country, had been in contact with the 28th case, a 20-year-old Malaysian student of the University of Chicago who had returned to Malaysia on vacation on Monday.

Dr Mohd Ismail said in a statement that the man did not have any history of having travelled abroad.

He said the man, after learning that he had been in contact with the 28th case, went to the Sungai Buloh Hospital yesterday and was admitted at 3pm.

"Investigations revealed that he developed fever and had body aches and headache on Thursday morning. He was confirmed as a positive case and as a local transmission case yesterday," he said.

A family of 11 went to Australia, 4 of them was admitted into the hospital. One of the son is studying in Sri Cempaka, one of the daughter is studying in SRJK (C) Jalan Davidson. OMG! :O
