My first time.

So this is what happened the first time I tried cooking fish and chip. I’m way too lazy of describing all the steps after one day of smelling oil in the kitchen. I’ll just let the picture do the talking for me.

The lemon was squeezed.

The fish was season with marinade – lemon juice and salt for 15 minutes.

While waiting for the fish seasoned, all the flour, powder and the soda are mix together with water.

Then the seasoned dory fish is coated with the mixture of flour and so on.

The fish was deep fried in the hot oil over medium heat till crispy and golden brown.

The vegetables were cut, washed and prepared to make salad.

Everything was placed on the dining table and finally ready to taste.

The side dish, plain bread with salad and chili tuna was made immediately.

Dessert was served.

In the end, fish was too salty and not crispy enough. The quantity was too less and wasn’t enough for everyone. The appetizer’s sauce, Thousand Island sauce was so very salty too because the brand wasn’t Lady’s Choice. The dessert – vanilla and chocolate ice cream wasn’t cold enough and was so yucky that it looks like it melts immediately when I took out from the fridge.

Conclusion: My cooking sucks like hell.
