China and Hong Kong Trip. Day One.

Finished packing everything up and the taxi came by 1.00pm. After 1 hour journey, arrived at LCCT (Low Cost Career Terminal). It's where all of the Air Asia aircrafts land. The terminal has very big difference with the KLIA. Don't need to mention that it's definately smaller. But, a lot of tourist. Our luggage were checked in and we had lunch at McDonald. After lunch, we went and waited for the plane. By 2 something, we boarded the plane.

The plane was smaller than the usual one I sat before. {definately not boasting!} The view when the plane took off was beautiful. As I sat beside the window I had the chance to watch the clouds that looks like cotton wools. I never had that kind of chance before last time, as most of the time I sat in the middle lane.

I sat on my seat for more than 4 hours, it was really really boring. They don't have any computer system as it's Air Asia, you don't expect very high class things. But, we still had our snack. Sister and I had 1901 hotdogs, it was very delicious as we made it ourselves. After the snack time, I read a few pages of Nobody's Perfect and slept.

By 8.30pm, the plane finally landed at Bai Yun Airport. We've arrived safely and peacefully at GuangZhou. We got our luggage and went to get a taxi. It was kind of tough to get a taxi as we have 3 large luggage which cannot fit in most of the small size taxi. But, of course at last we managed to get one. On the way to the hotel, I saw a lot of high rise building, large shopping malls and long highways. There are also a lot of hotels which have striking and attractive signboard.

After checking in at Han Feng hotel, we unpacked. The room was quite scary. It's situated at the last of the lane, which has no lights. The window of the room was opened, while the door cannot be locked. I was so afraid about the security. Then, we went and had supper. Along the way for supper, we passed by a dark passage. I saw quite a few beggars were sleeping on the road and an old man and woman was packing up the rubbish. The scene was frightening but I really pitied them.

The delicious supper was finished and we went back to hotel. From the minute I got in my room, things got unlucky. When I went to wash hand at the bathtub, I turned the wrong tap! Guess what? The water from the shower splashed on me, I got all wet and went freezing! Not only that, when I was drying my hair, the wire of the hairdryer got plucked out! And it can't be used anymore. Sigh. I just went to bed and wished that tomorrow morning would be better.
